Possum Boxes

Members have made a number of Possum Boxes which are for sale in various sizes from $60 each.

Each Possum Box is made from recycled timber and stained for weather protection. Suitable for both Ringtail and Brushtail Possums, each box has a hinged lid so you can check for inhabitants and feral bees. The hinged lid also allows the placement of dried leaves for natural bedding.

Made to Wilderness (Victoria) specifications, both Ringtails and Brush tails are protected species. They normally nest and spend most of their time in in the canopy of peppermint (Agonis flexuosa) woodland and eucalypt forests.

Possums feed on leaves and like to forage for food at night (nocturnal). Separate designs have been made for Brushtail and ringtail possums and phascogales.
